This is Stinky - a homeless, unfixed male. And the nicest cat you'll ever meet. I'm trying to get my cat integrated in the new environment and that means meeting the four male cats that live here.
I was VERY leery of Stinky - he's a BUFF dude with the biggest paws I've ever seen on a cat (and you know what THAT means). I thought for sure that he'd take one look at my darling sweetie and would immediately act on impure thoughts.
But he was wonderful... when he first saw Sweetie, he approached slowly and carefully. He tried to sniff her butt, but she HISSED. He backed off and decided that it would be best to just take a seat 3' away. Too close - sweetie swiped at him. He didn't respond at all, but instead took a rest 4 feet away. Sweetie left in a huff...
He's such a nice boy - I'm shocked. Nothing bothers him - you can pet him on his belly and slide ALL THE way down and it doesn't bother him at all. My previous male, Toby would try to kill me (really - he'd truly try to kill me) if I tried that.
I didn't see why, but today in a nasty downpour, the other outdoor cats (all smaller than he is) chased him from under the porch and he found shelter here... poor Stinky...
ok... time to unpack more boxes - YAY!
