Remember, try harder when you hit a fitness wall.

Hit the gym 3 times this week for upper body workouts. Food intake was moderate.

I stepped on the elliptical for 10 whole minutes. Go me!

Last week: 3 upper body workout, some walking.
This week: 2 upper body workouts, 1 hour elliptical.

Not as cringe-worthy as the one's I've seen of people dropping the bar on the back of their necks.

Still losing weight overall this year.

Running a lot. I'm trying to to a 1,000-mile year. Unlikely that I can hit that mark, but still trying...

64 km this month.

202.8 km total for the year.

started doing 5-10 min workouts at night before bed - squats, lunges, planks, etc. even do the chair exercise on the wall.

It's remarkable how much better one feels after doing even a small amount of exercise!

Sounds great, keep at it.

I really, really, really tried to ski all last week while on vacation.

HOWEVER...I managed to get a single day in before coming down with the flu for the rest of the week.

I have dropped 3-4 lbs but I don't recommend getting sick as a weight loss program.

Going to the doc at the end of the week for the cough and clogged ears that was going on before the flu, and hasn't left yet.

He probably would have it it were not for the wall. I have seen many people get pretty reckless with lifting a barbell overhead.

I had a teacher that was an alt for U.S. Olympic team . He said once at a competition.

A lifter from Bulgari was ahead of the Russian lifter in total weight. The judges had to light up a signal for a good lift. The Russian judge started delaying the good signal. So on his last lift the Bulgarian accidentally did something similar to that by dropping the barbell on the judge just off the stage.

34.3 miles on my treadmill. Weight steady. We want to get outside for some walking but we just haven't found time during the day.
