That PoE switch is pretty tempting. I'm not sure I've seen anything in that price range before...
I should get a new wifi router; actually I did get one a while back but it had all these fancy features where it needed to be connected to the cloud and I just don't like that.

Thoughts on this router?

I have deployed 3 of these for family members and agree with the wirecutter review. Easy. Excellent range. Robust so far.

(Have not replaced my older hardware at home--Asus--but would do so.)
