I have a new meaning for "broken hearted," at least according to my doctor.

Thank you, AllGold.

I am waiting until Tuesday, which will be the first day that I can make an appointment with the cardiologist that was recommended by my regular cardiologist to see for a second opinion. He apparently specializes in "heart failure" cases.
I also plan to call the Cleveland Clinic the same day.
I'll post any new news, if there is anything to add.
I am anxious to see if anyone can give me a reason to feel encouraged.
Hanging in for now. I wish everyone a happy Memorial Day.

Hi Gene

You have been dealt some bad cards. It sounds like you still have a few options still to try, so you might as well feel good about it.

Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. This is a very resourceful community and we are here to help.

Thanks pipiens, it's been a long time since I've seen you. Nice to know you are still around.

It's a thought I've had about members disappearing (especially long time members), some seemingly without a word, that prompted me to post about my heart's condition.

I can't adequately express how much the kind words and support from everyone means to me.

I've waited until today to post that I am now going to start a contact with the Cleveland Clinic. I figured that it was best to wait until after the Memorial Day weekend was past before I called.
Again, thanks Yo Yo, for the numbers and the others of you that have encouraged me to at least reach out to the Cleveland Clinic. It had seemed an impossible resource, because of the distance.

Well, we will see, because I will be calling them right after I post this reply.

Thanks again, everyone. I will post about my results from the call.
