B5 1st season is slow. May be better to start with Season 2 and go back to Season 1 if you like S2.

Speaking of sci fi, I really like "The Expanse". There's some weirdness that could have ruined the show (what's up with the pilot that talks like he's from texas?), but apparently there's enough good about it to make me have to watch it. There's a martian soldier in it that was so impressive beating a dude up that I had to look it up, and apparently she actually is a boxer. Pretty cool.
