Two Apple Airport Extremes for sale. Both are in great condition.

Specs on both:

* Model A1521 (ME918LL/A)
* 6th Generation (final model)
* three-stream 802.11ac (maximum data rate of 1.3Gbit/s)
* Time Machine supported via USB-attached external USB drive
* original box with power cord
* original owner; used in a smoke-free home
* hard reset (ready to join your network or set up a new network)
* latest firmware installed prior to reset

Here's the comparison chart @ Wikipedia. The big change is the implementation of 802.11ac, which I found to be a massive step up from the v5 models I had. I don't believe there was any other change between the v5 and v6, however. (Same form factor, same ports, etc.)

Enhanced speed of the base station is only good if your mobile devices can receive the signal.

iPhone 6 models were the first to have AC.

My wife's MBP from 2009 doesn't, and wifi connectivity is not the bottleneck.

Yes, that's what the second Airport Extreme was used for in my Airport network. One served as the connected-to-modem base station/gateway, the other served as a signal extension to the upstairs portion of the house.

Of course, both have been reset, so they'll be "like new" out of the box in that regard; you can make either one your base station or an extension, or get both and set up the same system I had.
