They cost twice as much as standard solar panels and only output about 85% of the power.

But they blend in nicely. Like paying for fancier looking shingles.

And you can pay 30% less (tax credit) for it when you combine it with a solar install. ANYTHING you have to do to complete the solar install can be included on the tax credit. Tree removal, panel upgrade, you name it.
