Not to rub it in, $tevie, but...

...52 games behind first place? How is that even possible? I don't remember ever seeing a season that bad.

that is an epically Bad season. But it's not often that the first place team is playing almost .700 baseball. In September.

I didn't realize that there are actually quite a few teams in worse shape than the Padres...at 22 games out.

It's okay, N-OS X-tasy!

I got angry when the Orioles took the one lousy game a week that was on broadcast and moved everything to cable. I think I may want to take credit for putting a jinx on them.

I've been following English Premier League football for a few years now. And my team is doing very well, thank you. COYS! Smile-D

PS: Peter Angelos is dying and once he's gone, things may begin to look up. Not that I will care at this point.

Yeah except his @$$hat son is calling the shots & the team, to him, is just a 'necessary evil' requirement for owning a cable network. Thank the MLB for originally caving in to Peter with the broadcast rights when the Nationals' franchise was awarded to DC.
I guess Buck will be his whipping boy @ the end of the season.
New owners seem to be the only solution.

I saw Tottenham vs A.C.Milan in Minneapolis. Minneapolis has a HUGE Tottenham Fan Club, it was great to be at the stadium and surrounded by Spurs fans! Mostly second string but I did get to see Christian Eriksen and Sonny play.

My kids were excited to see Salah (ok, that's an understatement), and we got to witness Shaqiri make a bicycle kick goal (which even I thought was rather impressive). Next stop is Manchester or Liverpool, I'm afraid.
