I posted a while back that my iPhone 6s, running iOS 10, was acting up. Apps weren't running properly, etc. I was almost ready to finally update to a new phone, but decided to wipe the phone completely, and reload everything. I was worried it was going to make me update to iOS 12, which I did not want because of an app I always use that was never updated. (it was working fine, even though other apps weren't).
Well, I went ahead and erased everything and restored from an iTunes backup I had made this afternoon. There was a brief scare because I had something called a "restrictions passcode" set... I never remember setting that up. I had to guess through several of my usual passcodes before I came up with the right one. But my phone is now running good again, and I'm not going to get a new phone.
