.....it will include reboots for 'Battlestar Galactica' [ from Sam Esmail who did 'Mr. Robot ], 'Saved by the Bell' and 'Punky Brewster'......maybe 'The Office' reboot at some later point....

.....'A.P. Bio' that was saved from cancellation will air here....and the 2nd 'Psych' movie coming in 2020......


NBCUniversal Announces Name, Release Date, Revival-Heavy Launch Lineup of New Streaming Service

....NBCUniversal continues to pull the curtain back on its soon-to-be-launched streaming service, announcing early Tuesday that the platform will be named Peacock and will bow in April 2020.

NBCU also confirmed that its streamer’s launch lineup will include exclusive streaming rights to reruns of The Office and Parks and Recreations, as well as a ton of fresh fare, including a reboot of Battlestar Galactica from from Mr. Robot and Homecoming auteur Sam Esmail.

Also in NBCU’s original series pipeline: A revival of Saved By the Bell starring original cast members including Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez, as well as the previously announced revival of Punky Brewster, with Soleil Moon Fry reprising her iconic ’80s character.

“The name Peacock pays homage to the quality content that audiences have come to expect from NBCUniversal – whether it’s culture-defining dramas from innovative creators like Sam Esmail, laugh-out-loud comedies from legends like Lorne Michaels and Mike Schur, blockbusters from Universal Pictures, or buzzy unscripted programming from the people who do it best at Bravo and E!,” said Bonnie Hammer, Chairman of Direct-to-Consumer and Digital Enterprises. “Peacock will be the go-to place for both the timely and timeless – from can’t-miss Olympic moments and the 2020 election, to classic fan favorites like The Office.’”

BSG Reboot

I look forward to the BSG Reboot. I'm glad they are NOT altering Ron D. Moore's BSG from a few years ago. I rewatched the pilot recently - awesome.

ENOUGH. I am not paying everybody and their uncle Fred for a separate streaming service.

I’m picking one streaming service plus my cable provider and I’m done.

Maybe I’ll rotate between a few, but only one at a time. One month sign ups to binge can’t miss series, once all the episodes have dropped.

But it’s clearly time to separate some wheat from the money grabbing chaff.

I have not one iota of hope of enjoying this iteration.

I can't stand Email. He had one good season, the first, with Mr. Robot, and turned the last two into Mr. Roboto, trying to show off how stylish he could be. 'Ima creative!' Fsckin' ridiculous.

He's smart to do a reemerging, because there's no way he can match Moore's creation.

Ishmael may do —ok— with this, but I'll tune in late if at all, if he hasn't totally screwed the pooch in this.

He needs somebody riding heavy handed shotgun to protect him from himself.
