I think Iger is right. Disney & Apple

-- Vanity Fair published an adaption of Bob Iger's forthcoming autobiography. In it, Iger writes, "I believe that if Steve [Jobs] were still alive, we would have combined our companies, or at least discussed the possibility very seriously...

It's amazing how people allow history to be re-written!

Apple COULD HAVE bought Disney while Jobs was leading Apple. It didn't happen because Jobs knew it was a horrible deal and was a bad move for Apple strategically.

There's NO UNIVERSE in which Apple would, or should, have bought Disney.

Iger's a dreamer! I guess if by "combine" Iger means he'd be shown the door the second the deal was done then fine... :quotes:

At this point it's Iger's lie and he can tell it however he wants!
