PSA :: iOS13 Reminders vs MacOS
#1
The new features in Reminders require and update to iCloud’s DB.
This would render R’s app incompatible between iOS and MacOS until Catalina is out.
Nothing erased, just not updated.
The same thing happened with Notes when... iOS11?
Then again, one can also choose to postpone the update to the DB. Or the whole OS for the h8rs, haha.

Or have to buy a new Mac because mine isn't Catalina capable. OK, that's annoying as heck.

Well, good to know. I don't use the old Reminders, and this 2018 Mac is not going to Catalina for a LONG time (if ever).

Is this true for the new Notes in iOS13? That could be a problem as I use that.

Everything’s dandy w/Notes. Again, Reminders can be kept as it is, if compatibility is important. Just read the information presented when opening the app.
