Looks like we are witnessing another horrible police situation, or the judge would have allowed the release of the footage now.

Florida GOP legislature and governor thought ahead, with the GOP stacked court in agreement... names and images of LEO may only be released with the officers permission. Then if it does get out, protesting in groups larger than three constitutes a riot and lets LEO react accordingly, which takes us back to the start of the cycle.

It must be apocalypse-level bad. I see they're using the "two weeks, folks, two weeks" deferral. It won't work. At least will give time for those who can get out of Elizabeth City before it burns to the ground.

Sounds like the D.A. wants time to not bring charges. His quotes are fairly ripe with power play talk. And his emphasis on the victim’s car hitting police cars is a straight up attempt to show police killed him in self defense.

I fully expect some of them to add snowplows for maximum damage.

Did you all see the video of the redneck junta on the way to his home? Through the quiet leafy streets comes this little pick up packed with officers, front and back, with weapons mounted on the truck. Like you'd see in Iraq.
