Anyone know "MyPrepaidCenter.com"? This is a valid Mobil 1 rebate?

I've been doing Mobil 1 rebates for years and they've always worked out. I remember getting a pre-loaded Visa card in the mail, and once I opted for an "e-check" which raised an eyebrow at my bank but they honored it.

For the latest rebate, about a month & a half ago I submitted all the necessary stuff as usual, and my rebate was approved and now it's marked "paid." I believe I did opt for an e-check or something virtual vs. a physical card, but I don't remember exactly what they said it was gonna be.

I just got an email from a web site called myprepaidcenter.com and they want all my info, and to e-sign a "disclosure" and "cardholder agreement." I think I'm going to be issued some kind of virtual card, but the top of this page says "register to shop online." I'm not cure if all this is spam, or if this is the actual Mobil1 rebate I'm supposed to get! Anyone know the scoop? TIA!

Well, i can tell you that that's how I received my last Mobil1 rebate. It was legit.

OK thanks, well that's different. Not sure what "register to shop online" means in the context of my $15 rebate, I'm really looking to put that $15 to use buying something offline – not on – but whatever. At least I know this isn't a scam!

Looking back at my emails and Amazon activity from around that time, it looks like I just redeemed it and loaded the card ($10 for me) onto my Amazon account. I think it was a virtual card but it was still fairly easy as i recall.

It is a valid site used by many rebate cards. If you want the money, you have to play their game.
