Excellent deal, but just to be clear that is an old model that Canon is trying to clear out. It's still a very good camera, but the version II is significantly better, albeit at about $900 more and minus the vertical grip.

The R6 is an extremely well rounded camera. It can handle sports/action/lowlight and other types of photography. One concern could be the 20mp. Most people will find this to be plenty of resolution. Most people will not need faster frame rate than the camera offers.

The R6II adds some extra things including 4mp. The burst frame rate is 40fps but does show the shutter skew for certain sports.
