I also agree with Dick Moore. Safari seems too flakey; especially when trying to view Weather.com (on both my Dual Boot G4 MDD & Pismo). Firefox is now my second choice.

I was using Safari...Omniweb (I even paid for it)...Camino...Shiira...but after some trial and error and research, I'm now using Firefox. I want to be able to sync my bookmarks with three machines (one is my work pc) and Foxmarks does that for me. The theme I'm currently using (GrApple) is very similar to Safari and, when I get tired of it, I can change it. In addition to the Foxmarks bookmark synchronizer, I also use several other plug-ins: Firefox Showcase, FireFTP, FoxyTunes, Google Maps, GMarks, to name a few.

Opera 9.10 is my favorite browser for Mac, Linux, or Windows. Once you spend somme time tweaking the interface things start to settle down a bit from the default install. I believe the newest version of Opera for Windows will work all the way back to Windows 95. Definitely Windows 98 compatible.
If I had broadband Camino would be 1b for the Mac, with Opera staying 1a. Nathan |
