Should I wait until Tuesday to buy a 24" iMac?

I'm ready to order a 24" iMac. Think I should wait until Tuesday's annoncement?

I haven't heard any rumors about changing the iMac line.

If they did make a major change and I ordered this close I could probably make an adjustment in time.... ?

You're buying a new iMac because your old one "bongs" when it shuts down?

I believe it's a 14-day grace period in price protection from Apple. They won't even budge if it's 15 days (been there, tried that). Anything after that and they'll include a restocking fee if you return it to buy the newer model.

i would wait -- but i would guess the only thing you might see a speed bump -- the 2.0 goes to 2.16 and the 2.16 goes to 2.33

since you are looking at a 24", maybe it gets 2 gig ram standard and the 256 meg video card standard, but the rest stay the same except for the mhz bump
