I'm almost certain the writ will be submitted and granted. Cannon's rulings on this case have been so far out of line and her endgame is so obvious that no real (i.e., honest) judge would refuse to grant it.

Keep in mind that a new judge starts everything over again, so there won't be any chance at all of a trial before the election. Every ruling she made can be resubmitted for consideration. The new judge will need to fit it on their docket as well, and they likely already have a fully scheduled docket.
The only case that has any hope of a trial before the election is the fraud one that is scheduled to start next week. However, Trump's lawyer just filed a lawsuit against the judge and that could hold things up - again.
