FOR SALE: 2017 MacBook Pro 13" (updated w/pics) (2 Thunderbolt ports version, NO Touch Bar)

Got this from a client that no longer needs it.

13" MacBook Pro w/2 thunderbolt ports (no Touch Bar)
2.3 GHz Core i5
8GB RAM
250 GB SSD
Running Ventura 13.7.4 (the newest this will run stock)

Battery shows "Service Recommended" and currently at 251 charge cycles. I decided since I wasn't keeping this, it didn't make sense for me to replace the battery. No signs of battery bulging or anything else. I did do a test where I fully charged it, and then unplugged it and ran a YouTube video with sound on, screen at just shy of half brightness, and it ran for about 3 hours before dying.

This is one of the laptops from the "dark days" of Apple laptop keyboards where there were reliability issues with the design (dust would get under keys and stop them from working). I have not noticed any non-working keys...all seems to work as expected.

One cosmetic issue is two small "dots" (physical scratches/imperfections) in the screen surface, just to the right of the image area on the right edge of the screen. Each "dot" is just about the size of a pencil point. There is some scratching/scuffing and a few minor dings on the front bottom edge. It feels like normal cosmetic condition for an 8 year old laptop. I can provide photos if that would be helpful.

DriveDX shows 91% "SSD lifetime left", with 40TB Data units written. No SMART or any other issues reported.

The unit charges with USB-C only. I am not including a charger & cable with the unit, but any type of charger will work.

Asking $150 shipped anywhere in the lower 48, or best offer. PM me to express interest. I'll be posting this other places as well, FWIW.
