Youtube video or audio downloader?

I thought there was a somewhat recent discussion about it but I was unable to come up with the right search terms. Any help appreciated.... or if you could note what works for you.  I used =something= successfully a few months ago but can't for the life of me remember what it was.

Most here seem to like ClipGrab, and it does seem to work... mostly. I find it occasionally fails to get a video, and sometimes gets only the audio. There are also a few websites where you can simply enter in the YouTube URL and it'll download the video or audio for you.
