How do I change default "open with" application.
#1
I've moved all my mom's docs to her new computer. She's got a gazillion .cwk (Appleworks) files. I'd like them to open in pages.

I'm thinking of running a name change utility and just changing all the files to the pages extension, that's one idea (any recommendations on which utitlity program to use for that).

But isn't there some setting where I could just tell Mac OS to open all those docs in Pages?

I've taught my mom "Control-click" when hovering over the file name and then choosing "Pages", but that is cumbersome for her.

Your ideas are appreciated.

Get Info - Open With (choose Pages) - Change All

Pat,

Awesome, exactly what I needed. I know I've seen that "change all" choice but I didn't remember that it is on the "Get Info" screen.

Thanks!
