Teva Shoes - Talk about Bait & Switch -Now this lousy development

You may need to review the above thread to understand. Lots of complaints about Teva's marketing with the Wraptor shoes. As a result of "running out of stock" they made another offer to those of us who had placed an order. NOW THEIR SUBSTITUTION offer has been canceled. Just got word late today that my orders for both orders have been cancelled at Amazon.. These guys have a lot to learn about customer service!

I just went to Amazon and keyed a search for Teva Mimmick and the shoes are still being offered.... but of course at the higher price without the $10 consolation coupon for having my prior order for the other model also canceled.

they ran out of the original "clearance" shoe -- and they should have left it at that -- theres nothing wrong with running out of a "clearance" item

should have just told you "sorry< we ran out" -- heres a $10 off coupon for any other shoe we make

instead they tried to get rid of an ugly dog of a shoe instead, which backfired

I also ordered the original shoe and was disappointed that they ran out. I did go for the second shoe - yes, its ugly but at $15 I can get past it. Honestly, I don't care too much if the order goes through or not.

Why is everyone getting so bent out of shape on this. Amazon could have easly just said: "Sorry, sold out" and that would have been the end of it. They offered a differnet shoe for the same price. You weren't obligated to buy it.

Would you have been just as upset if Macy's had advertised the shoe at $9.95 and then when you got there late in the afternoon they told you it was sold out? I doubt it.

Get over it already.

I ordered a couple of pairs direct from Teva that night and they are supposed to arrive tomorrow. I hope they are the right shoes.

I always think of these sorts of deals as being similar to gambling. You give it a shot and if you don't win, you just have to move on.

I got my two pairs of blue ones, not the most attractive shoes but they sure seem tough.
