Keeping track of computer technical support issues in the learning resources center of a local junior college. It should log phone calls and email submission from students, staff and faculty.

This is what my company is using. It has been pretty stable and reliable. You don't mention what platform you're working on, but this is entirely web-based so it doesn't matter to the clients. The back-end is Windows though.

The entire Learning Resources Center uses Windows XP workstations. Web-based is what they are looking for since there are departments that utilize Macs. I will suggest the software to the IT department heads. Thanks! Personally, I have used Oracle, Vantive and UCLA own version of help-desk application from my previous employments. Oracle is the most powerful one. It would be an over-kill for the college of this size and budget.
