Scam scum: "Reservation Rewards" charged my CC, keep an eye on your statements

I just noticed a mysterious Reservation Rewards charge on my CC for $12 so I punched up the name of the vendor and found this.

So keep an eye out for it. I almost paid my balance without looking over my statement in my sleep deprived state.

Upon further reading, it looks like it was the CC processing company used by buy.com

Was it one of those automatic checked boxes thing where you have to uncheck the box to opt out? Pretty scummy if so.... illegal to boot.
