Bought this 94 Camry, that had two new tires on the rear. Costco only will put on tires that match the rating in the glove box. Apparently Camry came with "H" rated tires, and the Goodyear "Touring" 90T are not the H rating, so the only thing they could do is sell me 4 tires rated correctly.
Should I just go and buy two more similar to the back ones, and have it aligned and move on. I can get two more like the others for 75 + 6.50 and tx apiece. And then 59 for the alignment.
Will I notice the difference, the car is 14 yrs old , already.
Thanks.
Then I need to clean the COLD "regulator" "valve" just at the Throttle Body, so that when the car is cold it will stay idling.
Thanks.

Costco not wanting to put on tires rated lower than stock is just them covering their ass. Other places will do this for you. The implication is that the tires won't be safe. The reality is that they will be safe for normal driving.

The car's age has nothing to do with it. Tires are your most direct contact with pavement. Unless you're asleep or not paying any attention, you'll always notice SOME difference with good tires on any car.
They're like shoes on your feet. Think twice before deciding to save a buck.
For reliable dynamics, I'd match all 4 tires to be of the same brand and model. That way the car handles more predictably.

So I should go with the idea of buying two that match the new ones on the back, and pay like $175 or so, and have 4 great tires. Goodyear "touring" think they are T rated or something

Tire ratings have to do with the max speed they can handle. An H rated tire has max speed of around 130. No offense, but I've never seen a Camry that could go that fast, especially one that is over a decade old. An S or T rated tire would work fine, and both of those are still rated for over 100mph. As long as the tire is the same size you'll be fine.

They sell H rated snow tires for Camrys at Costco? If not then why will Costco mount those and not something else?
You should find similar tires (at least the same brand, same model-but not H rated may be close enough) to be safe.
I mixed and matched front and rears for years on one car and it worked pretty well (occasionally at the limit I could notice/be surprised), but had to stop as one set was badly mismatched. One way and it would under steer badly (boring but safe) an the other and the car was not very stable and annoying to drive.

remember also that that rating is for sustained speeds of like an hour. Sure, wizzing down the interstate at 130 for an hour and not getting stopped?
