This was the one real sore point for me of the crippled features on the original. Glad to see they fixed it even though they don't mention it as a feature of the upgrade.

Hey, that's good news! I grabbed the upgrade late last night and didn't get a lot of time to put the new stuff through the paces. At first glance, I didn't think it was implemented.
Notes is pretty nice and I think I'll get a lot of use out of that one.

That's great news. I was waiting for that also, and now that my contract is up with verizon, I have to decide between this and an iphone. hmmm...

The inability to add or edit a calendar entry was a bug that was addressed in 1.1.2, the most recent free update. No need to pay $20 for that.

Having gone back and looked into the matter, I should clarify something. Yesterday, Apple released Touch software 1.1.3, and the $20 expansion pack. They're two separate things.
Other than some security fixes, I don't know what 1.1.3 offers. |
