Thanks for the link. I've been wondering about the possible power savings and that answers it. I'd still like to see a comparison between the old 4-core 2.66 and new 4-core 2.8 though.
3P, I hate to rain on your parade but isn't it only $300 less than a newer machine if you figure that a new 8-core 2.8 is about as fast as an old 8-core 3.0? $1000 less than the old version was though.
