In my observation when a network shows multiple new episodes in quick succession like that, the network is getting the remaining episodes out after the decision was made to cancel it.

I hope that is not the fate of Chuck. I like it.

NBC execs are so stupid they wouldn't know a good show if they had one. Journeyman, for example.

I agree with you both. Another example was Jericho which has now been picked up by SciFi..... Good for them!

I've already D/Led the last two CHUCKs, and hope to watch them tonight or tomorrow morning.

I was hoping there'd be some kind of campaign to same Journeyman but I guess there isn't any.

Quantum Leap was a fun show way back when, except near the end, where Scott began dressing up as a woman more and more...

But Journeyman, is a different and far better example of the genre (if two can make a genre). Well written, taut, well acted, good character development. Even the kid is good-- not super-precocious, not a brat...

They could have gotten rid of the wife and kid like so many other shows, but they didn't. I really liked that. She's in for the long haul. Gotta love her.

We hated Jack, now we like Jack. I don't know how long that show could have gone on, but at least one more season would have been great.

Somebody once posted at nbc.com that NBC stood for NoBody Cares.
