Back when there were blue laws in Massachusetts, not only was everything closed on Sunday, but many sleepy towns (not any more) everything closed at nine at night (even the Mall) (last movie start time for the theaters was 8:45PM, there would be a cop in the lot at 10:30 to chase home any stragglers from the parking lot.)
