Garmin GPS for $80, after a little work
#1
Office Depot has the Garmin 200 on sale for $130 after rebate this week ($200 in store with a $70 rebate) here:

http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/47...on-System/

Staples has the same unit on sale for $150 starting next Sunday:

http://staples.shoplocal.com/staples/def...entryflash&adref=staples_right_hand_nav&cm_sp=merchandising-_-Specials%20Page-_-Local%20Circular

So, Office Depot matches prices to competitors within within 7 days, as seen here (2nd paragraph):

http://www.officedepot.com/renderStaticP...wPrice.jsp

So the cost would be $200 (initially) - $70 rebate - $50 price match = $80.

Is this GPS worth $80?

no, it's not that easy. This week, CC has id for 155, and walmart for 145 (give or take a few bucks). OD will not price match Wally, not a direct competitor. They do price match CC in general. The problems is that OD price after rebate is lower than CC, wife tried and they refused to Price Match. Some had success, some did not. Here is the whole story

I guess that my Office Depot is easy, because I have done things like this in the past there (2 x this week alone) and have had no issue. All they require is proof of the price, then thy call the local competitor to make sure that they have stock. I am about 10 for 10 this year alone.

I guess this is a YMMV, but where I go, it has worked every time.

Does that model get high ratings, and take an SD or micro for expansion?

Here is an image showing the SD card expansion slot:

4.5 stars @ Amazon

For $80, this is a good deal. There are GPS units that do more, but what else do you want?
