Who cares if it was posted before? What is this anal OCD people have with repeat posts?

Strange, I woke up last night, at 3am, and was imagining Tim Conway making him bust out laughing...... what a bizarre coincidence, since I didn't know this news.

that's "Hedley" ...

Hedley Lamarr: You will be risking your lives, whilst I will be risking an almost-certain Academy Award nomination for the Best Supporting Actor.

Thanks, Panopticon, for mentioning the other thread. If you hadn't, we might not have known about it. If this is OCD, then I'm all for OCD. So I didn't read your post above as trying to tsk-tsk samintx, even if that was your intention. And if it WAS your intention, what you actually did was help by including the link.

It's like the other day when I mentioned in BGnR's thread about Grim's ATX power-supply thingie that there was a another thread about it. I wasn't doing it to embarrass BGnR, and I hope he didn't take it that way; I just thought it would he helpful if folks also had the benefit of the other thread without having to recreate the wheel.

A forum is an ever-flowing thing; I certainly don't think it has to have one-time-only topics.

What some of you see as the "forum police" being anal and wanting to admonish others could very well instead be an effort to affect a sort of keywording and threading, for the benefit of all. It helps bolster the forum as an Intranet of sorts.
