Windows questions
#1
Desktop, 2.40GHz P4, XP SP3, 1.06GB RAM, 120GB HD.
Currently running: MS Outlook 07, FireFox 2.0.0.14, MS Access and iTunes 7.6.2.9.
Every time I move/scroll/minimize/maximize a window, refresh a page, click on a tab or perform similar activities, iTune hiccups or stutters. Not enough RAM?

My first guess would be CPU cycles. Use Ctrl+Alt+Del to open up Windows Task Manager and see what CPU Usage and Page File (memory) usage look like when you notice the issue. Over about 75% CPU or RAM might indicate you are hitting some limitation.

CPU Usage % fluctuates between 11 and 88. Is there a way to eliminate this issue besides toss our Windows box out a window?

Yes. Get an iPod for listening to your tunes. Smile

It is supposedly possible to install iTunes without QuickTime, but you need to have QuickTime Alternative or QT Lite. Have you really done this? My guess is you just ran iTunes and did not realize QT got installed.
