Grim, yeah, I was thinking about that too. I forgot to mention, this machine also has an AlchemyTV card in there, but unfortunately that card doesn't provide any video out... only video in...
I take it that the adapter dohc76 linked to above, also will not work?

Those adapters were designed to work with cards that shipped in G5s or later, so unless you have a hacked G5 card, they should not work.
I don't believe I've ever tested with a Radeon 9000, but it's pretty doubtful it will work.

Just a note
The card linked above may be a flashed PC card as any reference on the ATI site only mentions a 32MB version of the card for Macs.

That Radeon 7000 is definitely a PC flashed card.
I'm not certain, but I do believe there was a short run of 64MB Radeon 7000 cards. But, if there was a run of them, they all had S-Video ports located between the DVI and VGA outputs. I believe they were a dark colored card, with either a black or very dark blue/brown PCB.

Yes guys, I do believe I may have a spare Radeon 7000 (Mac, not PC) at home... will check when I get home tonight. That may be a fairly cheap (free?) solution...
