My main complaint with my iTouch is the difficulty finding a network to log on to. Most networks are locked, and Starbucks and Borders now require a monthly fee. Also, the Wifi receptivity is not that great. You need to be really close to a node in order to use it. With the iPhone you can get online where ever you get cell phone reception, which is nearly everywhere. Not so with the iTouch, which makes the maps feature pretty much useless, at least when you're on the go. But don't get me wrong, I really like mine and don't regret buying it. Its got a lot of functionality in a really small package. Just don't get it for the sole purpose of web surfing.

The refurb will not look "less than stellar", it will be new.
Just stick to your purchase and stop making yourself meshugga.

no bluetooth
My biggest complaint. Even if it did have BT, it still doesn't support the protocol for stereo sound. phbbbbbbbbbbbt!

So far I like mattkime and BL's answers. Also can't deal with the initial additional $$, so I believe I'm sticking. Thanks.
