pismo battery reset program?
#1
I started having the pismo battery not charging bug recently.

Is there a way to reset the PMU so that the battery will now charge?

I did zap the PRAM several times and still no dice.

and I did this:

1. Start the computer while holding down the Option-Apple-O-F keys
2. The Open Firmware screen will appear.
3. Type in the following exactly as they appear, pressing Return after each line:
reset-nvram
set-defaults
reset-all
4. Your machine will restart automatically.

I think the battery reset program was for the Wallstreet only.

The way I did it was to take the batteries and put them in a Lombard-(the program worked on them, and the batteries were the same) run the program and then use it in the Pismo.

Man the Pismo is something like ten years old now. Still an amazing computer. I intend to keep mine forever.
