Make a BootCamp partition larger?
#1
Well, that's not really what I want to do, but I couldn't think of an proper subject. (unless this is possible, which would save a whole lot of time)

Anyway, when I set up BootCamp, I set my partition for Window's XP too small, and I want to set up a new one, but keep my current installation for Windows in tact.

This is what I am thinking, please correct me if I am wrong. CCC my XP partition to another area, folder on my desktop or another drive, reset BootCamp to wipe that partition (or clunk it back in with the rest of my HD) and run the BootCamp installation again, but skip the Install Windows part. Is it possible to do this? To get the partition set up, "bless" it or whatever it does, and then CCC my original XP files back to this new one?

Please advise!

Here's what I did and it worked like a charm.

Use Disk Utility to create a disk image of the Windows partition.

Use Boot Camp to erase and create a new, larger partition.

Use the Windows install disk to format the new partition but not install Windows.

Use Disk Utility to restore the disk image to the new larger Windows partition.

FWIW, I used the FAT32 formatting so I can copy files to the Windows partition.
