Ebay - Have you dealt with shipping to Japan?
#1
Item is about an $90 item and I don't want to get burned on it. How do you send it safely? 1st class International USPS?

Weird thing is the 2 people interested in it are both from Japan.

One of them has "hidden" feedback, which I have never dealt with they have about 1000 100% positive, for cheap items.

I've shipped over a dozen eBay items to Japan in the last 8/10 years with no issues, mostly USPS Intl. Priority. Make sure you get the cost dead on as a little mistake in weight or whatever can be $10.00 in a heartbeat.

USPS Priority Mail International is how I send most of my stuff.

Be sure when you are in the USPS shipping calculator that you input the weight of your package EXACTLY or you will get hit with extra charges if it is heavier than what you pay for. Also be sure to check on the little link that says "package sizes" or (something like that) in the top of the rate box to see the maximum package dimensions for the different shipping categories as the size limits can be different based on the destination country!

One more thing: 70lb weight limit for USPS PM International

I've shipped a number of expensive (and fragile) resin sculptures to Japan before, with no problems.....
