I have switched to eating whole Albacore tuna since "white tuna" now resembles cat food more than it does human. Anyway, Kroger has Starkist Solid White Albacore tuna in spring water for $1.00 per 6oz can. The solid has more net tuna in the can and normally retails for $1.99 at my store.
I saw a body builder buying about 30 cans of the stuff. He was putting them into the cart with his 4 dozen eggs and his 6 packs of whole chicken breasts. He informed me that each can contains 30g of protein.
