Does anyone here refill their own inkjet cartridges?

I am glad I have an HP. They sell so many printers that generics are abundant. I like Canon though also but this is scaring me off.

Costco also sells a refill package. Might be worth checking out. Also, if you can find a Canon i560 new in box or an ip3000 (they take the same ink), generics are readily available very cheap.
