T-Mobile prepaid phone replacement?
#1
I have to replace my mothers t-mobile prepaid phone as hers died. Can I just get another prepaid phone from T-mobile and stick her sim card in it? Then throw away all the signup crap and new sim card. They have the phone she likes at the best price.

But any unlocked GSM phone will work, right?

. . .yes. . .you can get another t-moble prepaid phone (as well as any t-mobile phone from a regular plan) and stick the SIM in and it will work. . .

. . .you can also use any GSM unlocked phone. . .

If you"re buying a new TMobile go to Bing and search for TMobile and you'll get 35% off.

I think you have to activate the new phone; use the $10 credit that comes with the new phone to download a game or ringtone or some other crap, then put the old SIM in it and it should work

ANY unlocked GSM phone is OK. I have one T-Mobile SIM card (prepaid) and use it in several different phones depending on which one I want to use at any given time.
