Finally picked up a cheap voice recorder. I like it.

$20 at Fry's last week. Just now got to play with it.

This one

Did not need to read the instructions. Just seemed fairly easy to work.
Has a switchblade-out USB plug, and just has audio files. No software for Mac, but that is not a problem.

I was waiting on one that was cheap. This one fits hand good and is great, basic recorder. I've always wanted to know what I say in my sleep.

What do you use it for?

(see above...)

Plenty of uses. I have just obtained it, so I have not used it yet.
In a couple of hours I will use it during my first meeting. No need to take handwritten, and spotty notes on the scene. No need to argue over who said what, what decisions were made, what take-aways were discussed, etc.

I have also heard this has been a good way to record things for other various legal reasons as well.

I would be uncomfortable if I knew someone is taping the meeting. I am not sure if it is even allowed without everyone's consent.
