We lived in the sticks and had no radio or TV reception. Heard it on the radio next morning. I was driving to Jack's Galley, a tiny greasy spoon in town where I often stopped to eat breakfast on my way to school.

Heard it on my car radio, driving home from work. I was living on the West Coast at the time, so it must have been mid-evening.

Rob, me too! I was just out of college and was listening to HFS... Gave me the weirdest feeling, I remember, like it somehow didn't compute. (And still doesn't.)
