We received a package from Anazon Monday and I asked my
wife if she ordered anything large from Amazon and she said no.
She opened it up and it was one Wii game in a box over 3' long x
12" wide and 4" thick. I told her it must have someone ticked at
Amazon knowing their days are number this week as many will
be let go tomorrow. It shipped via Prime free 2 day shipping.

I think they have an excess of these boxes. I received a pair of wire cutters in one.

It's only the little people that have to Think Green. The large corporations mindlessly generate all the waste they want.

We received a dvd in a padded envelope. The case was shattered. Sent it back to Amazon. So, green isn't always the way to go as USPS can destroy everything.

I've received DVD's and video ganes in boxes large and small, bubble envelopes and those special
cardboard mailers, I think I like the mailers best, the one where you pull the strip and it opens.
My wife reuses all Amazon packaging for her eBay stuff so it usually gets used at least twice.

.......for 'fragile' items....amazon is still awful......they send the 'fragile' item in an oversized box.....with maybe a few air pillows (if any)....the item(s) rolls around in an oversized box with no cushing, so yeah it gets damaged.......you ask for a replacement and the item is mailed the exact same way.....you ask again for a replacement and the item is shipped the same way.....you give up and never buy anything 'fragile' from amazon again.....
