When you get to the final screen just before hitting "Place Your Order" there is a button to click to change payment method. When you get to that screen you can enter a new car, change to another stored card, etc. There is also a check box that says "Use your $XX.XX gift card or promotional balance". If you uncheck that box the gift card is not applied to that purchase. Make sure you don't have "one click" active or the gift card will be automatically applied. Also if you don't go through the change payment method, the gift card is applied by default.
