I'm on the verge of buying a MBP, but I wanted to see what the MacBooks have. I always wanted to try a small laptop, I wanted to try the 12" iBook. I'm afraid that I'll plunk down big money and not be happy with the MBP when I see the MB and the savings.
I was soooo hoping for a Tuesday announcement. :: ![]()

It's not Tuesday anymore, it's Monday, unless it's Friday.

I hear you! I'm currently Mac-less and am waiting to see the specs of the I(ntel)book before deciding what to buy.

"MacBook's release sees one week postponement May 9, 2006 - Apple pulled its MacBook announcement, expected today, at the last minute due to supply issues related to the new laptop. The MacBook is now slated to arrive next Tuesday, May 16. Sources would not elaborate on the postponement beyond saying that stock levels were not were Apple had wanted them for the initial release. As mentioned in our previous report on the MacBook, release dates are often subject to last-minute changes." |
