OT: Some groups says they tested bottled water, lots of it is junk

Our local dei stopped selling bottles water. They have a bit dispenser and anyone can come in and fill a container they brought with them.

Penn and Teller on bottled water

Thanks, I had forgotten about that episode. My favorite water was the "Aqua de Culo".

I must admit that I do have bottle water preferences. I hate Aquafina water, tastes crappy. I prefer Arrowhead and Costco Kirkland water.

Most of my daily water source is from my fridge, filtered by a pure water filter. I use a Camelbak. Fill it twice daily.

The only way my local tap will not taste crappy is to have it sit out in an open container to let the chlorine out (or filter it), then cool it. Besides having a shitload of chlorine, it also has a lot of calcium in it.

I was part of a blind tasting of bottled water once. There were so many people who swore that they would be able to distinguish THEIR brand.

Bottled water is one of the biggest cons ever carried out in this country.

Not as bad as the recycling con. (Except for aluminum cans)
what exactly is the recycling con?
That is helps the environment and it saves money. Recycling, except for aluminum cans, is a big money pit.
