Transformers, the movie

I agree, Megan is a very beautiful young lady. She didn't really do any acting in that movie, she just kind of stood around and popped out the occasional line while looking incredible.

So if imdb is NOT the place to find ratings, where is?

Thanks

RT is better, but is suffering the same fate as IMDB just not as fast...

both are offering links to real movie reviewers - that's really the way to go. Follow 3 or 4 pros and after a year or so, you'll get a good idea if YOU'D like the movie based on what they say.

Siskel & Ebert were perfect - both very good and very different, but a field of two is not enough.

Ebert probably liked this movie, but no doubt Siskel would have panned the hell out of it.

Ebert liked the first one well enough, but his negative review of the sequel is legendary.

CHRIST!! No kidding - this is great stuff:

"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is a horrible experience of unbearable length, briefly punctuated by three or four amusing moments. One of these involves a dog-like robot humping the leg of the heroine. Such are the meager joys. If you want to save yourself the ticket price, go into the kitchen, cue up a male choir singing the music of hell, and get a kid to start banging pots and pans together. Then close your eyes and use your imagination.

I was entertained by the first one. Don't remember a damn thing about it today other than all the machinery crashing around, but it was a passable 2-hour distraction.

Never felt any urge to watch the sequel.

I enjoyed the first movie, well enough.

Fox doesn't do much for me. I find her attractive, but vapid at best. She doesn't strike me as having any personality.

For me, the overwhelming majority of her talents lie in a low-cut, push-up bra, and a fairly attractive face. Anybody could have played her part in Transformers.

One the other hand, she couldn't have done Ellen's part in Finding Nemo.

Never felt any urge to watch the sequel.

Agreed.
