It's going to be a LONG day
#1
At 4:45 AM I was wide awake. I laid there for a few minutes & realized I wasn't going back to sleep so I got up.

I've always felt that one of the biggest wastes of time is laying in bed trying to get to sleep.

24 hours long here. Although if you only count the sunrise/sunset day it is 9h 20m.

I am back to a cycle of waking up every ten minutes. Plus I'm on call so I can get 'waked up' at all times.
I ask myself WHY WORK?

Dark cocoa drink has helped me to fall asleep quickly and early but then I would be wide awake at 4 A.M. :banghead: For a couple of days it has been like that this week but I today was lucky I got to sleep in one hour longer. Ha!

I'm all messed up. I was in Vegas the week of the 10th and barely got adjusted to the time change when it was time to come back home to the Central time zone. I spent exactly 1 day (two nights) in CST and then headed out for another full week on the road, all in the Eastern time zone.

In addition to the time changes, this last week involved a 5 cities in 5 days tradeshow swing which means I was in a different hotel every night so I never really settled in to any one place. Got home late yesterday afternoon and was in bed by 10 CST.

It is going to take me a few days to catch up on sleep and figure out which day it is!

Jet-lag is even worse when you fly north or south.

I used to be able to take a quick nap to make up for getting up at 4AM
that doesn't work any more.

Geez Louise! Another one!

I've been going for two days at a time without sleep for months now.

How do you spell…
exhausted
Tonight looks like another one. It's Sunday at 2:04 AM PDT
