Tell me: How do they ID a 'gator that chews on people?
#1
I don't understand..no "smoking gun". They are out trolling for the killer 'gator that killed that model but HOW DO THEY KNOW what to look for unless they kill and kill looking in the stomach?

Doesn't one 'gator look like another?

Your are right; they don't know until they examine the contents of the stomach. I recently watched a video of a 15' crock killed in SEA that contained the remains of a small boy. It was nasty as they pulled out the limbs and torso of the child.

Are saying that was Seattle? I saw that video and it sure didn't look like Seattle to me. Looked more like somewhere in the South Pacific to me. I don't even know if they have Crocodiles in that area, but the people sure weren't speaking english and the way they were wielding machetes didn't look like the typical Seattlite....or..oh, wait, SEA = South East Asia. Ha! I'm not as dumb as I thought I was.

Thanks, UnDoug; after I woke up more I remembered I could do my own search. Smile

Yeh, RacerX, it also took me a minute or two to figure out we didn't have any man-eating alligators up here!
