I use this ap and like it a lot. Today, I got an email from them stating I could transfer my license to the Mac app store for $4.99.
Why would I want to do this?

Automatic updates would be the only reason I could think of.
Plus, from the App Store you can install that on all your authorized Macs. Is there any license limitations from the site? Some EULAs state one license, one computer, and variations thereof, others require activation of the software, dumping the Honor System.

I guess it would be worth $5 to be able to put it on all the machines.
Thanks. Kate

IIRC, they allow you to use the license on all your personal Macs. That being said, I popped for the $4.99 just for the convenience of it being in the App Store, so I can reinstall it should I decide to reformat one of the Macs. Looking up the license is always a PITA for me. I really need to organize.

Some quick Qs on the app store:
1. I've got a credit of about $40 on the iTunes store - can it be transferred? 2. Can I use a $50 iTunes gift card @ the mac app store?
